RE_COMPOSITIONS

A cycle of works dedicated to the search for themselves, to the slow construction of our character, to the awareness of being the fruit of every lived moment and to the effort of always keeping everything together without losing precious pieces along the way; to the stubborn filling of the memory so that one day our story can be told; to the preservation of the footprints of our walking and the traces of new emotions hidden in the incommunicability of our words. The re-compositions want to be all this: a heart rebuilding itself every day to face life and a every day reborn soul aspiring to eternity.

The works are the result of a slow and loving assembly of numerous waste elements collected in different situations: processing leftovers, inventories, scraps of my own works….not a recycling then, but a recovery action, a rescue. Each piece could have been part of a finished work, but it wasn’t, it remained outside, discarded. My job therefore consists in giving a new life to what our lack of love would have thrown away to show that everybody has the possibility to aspire to a rebirth. An earthly rebirth even before that eventually granted by any God.
